Full disclosure so you guys know where I stand. I am not, and never will be comfortable with women (bi or straight, it doesn’t matter) self shipping with confirmed gay men. The same goes for men shipping with confirmed lesbians. Todays media is full of straight characters! When a character is confirmed to be either gay or a lesbian, it’s incredibly disrespectful to treat them as otherwise. Like legitimately you cannot preach supporting gay people while simultaneously erasing a character’s sexuality. I get that you guys really admire these characters. That’s fine! But ignoring a gay or lesbian character’s sexuality is nothing but harming to irl gay people.
Long story short: dont erase lgbt identities just for your selfship
Everything about the early stages of Lup and Kravitz relationship is fucking hilarious cause like. On one hand, Kravitz knows a shit to about Lup from the Story, but his memory of it’s prolly spotty because it was 100 years blasted into his brain instantaneously.
And then on the other hand, Lup was accidentally third wheeling through basically all of Taako and Kravitz dates up to the apocalypse so she knows a shit ton about him too, BUT she was also only sorta conscious in the umbrastaff, so her memory’s probably compromised too.
So we have these two people, who simultaneously don’t know each other at all and know each other uncomfortably well, trying to get to know each other For Realsies while also navigating the ‘My amnesiactic boyfriend’s long lost family turning up basically Out Of Nowhere’ and ‘My
antisocial
long lost twin having an actual SO after 100 years of me always being his top priority’ baggage.
And it’s time to remember this moment, now. And all the others that brought you to where you are today. It’s time to reclaim your stolen century.

I mean, we literally have research that says this. With TV it works because shows are DESIGNED to have segues/scenes where advertising can go, so we perceive it as less disruptive. You can’t just drop advertising in any old where. Shockingly, people fucking HATE that.
I just dealt with the death of the one person i was financially dependent on. I don’t know exactly how I’m going to support myself, and anyone who has advice they can give me on things I can do to prolong my well-being would be so appreciated…
